Thank you for your interest in being a part of the 2008 Jekyll Feast
choir. We will be singing four times during the Feast and music will not
need to be memorized. The selections will be made from the following
songs: These songs are not difficult to sing, are very inspiring , and
should add immensely to the celebration of the Feast.
Note: I will send this music to you for your practice soon. Hopefully,
you will be able to practice them before the first rehearsal. I really
believe that these songs are not difficult and we will be able to sing
them in an effective and meaningful manner. I am having a practice CD
developed with the songs for you to practice, and will send the CD as
soon as I can.

DRESS AND ATTIRE: Sabbath attire will be appropriate when we sing.
INSRUMENTAL HYMN ENSEMBLE: We will have an Instrumental Hymn Ensemble.
Bring your instruments if you can. I am asking Ton Riner to please
coordinate the Ensemble. Please contact him if interested.

We will sing on the following dates: Tuesday, October 14, Thursday,
October 16, Sabbath October 18,( PM Service,) & Tuesday, October 21, (LGD,PM
Service.) We will not be rehearsing every day and the rehearsal time
will be kept to a minimum. However, we would like the choir to back up
the song leader for each service on stage. Rehearsal schedule will be
given at our first rehearsal.
FIRST REHEARSAL: Monday, October 13. 3:00 - 5:00 pm in the Festival
Auditorium. We will practice all songs on this date, and will sing First
Holy Day, Tuesday,, October 14.
Please feel free to contact me if you need additional information. I
would also appreciate it if you would pass out this information to
others who might be interested in the Choir.
Note: If you would like to participate as a soloist in Special Music,
instrumentalist, offertory music, please contact me at 714-637-4335 or
E-mail me. desalcedo@sbcglobal.net. You may probably need to send me a
cassette tape or CD of what you want to sing or play. I will then notify
you.
Thank you for your willingness to serve and give of your time and
talents to God and His people through music. Please remember to pray for
